Thanks.  I found a script on Pageresource.com, a terrific site filled 
with extremely helpful tutorials and examples.  I decided not to try 
the animated image because I don't have Fireworks or similar image 
editor, although after playing around with Fireworks on the school 
machines, that $99 (educational price) could be a good deal...
