I emailed Dan earlier for the same situation on another LEM list. Methinks Maclaunch has significant problems with their list administration software which is why Dan has been talking about writing his own and probably hosting his own mail server. Unfortunately LEM lists and LEM in general is something now requiring truly commercial grade hosting or at least co-location. Dan has largely been running LEM out of his devotion to all things Mac which also means out of his own pocket. The sponsorships and other ad revenue along with spiffs from purchasing products from featured vendors are not paying for the costs of keeping LEM & these lists afloat. Dan is working I think two jobs now not only to keep LEM afloat but also to generate income for the household. He has no full time job with benefits. Thus the mailing list problems with Maclaunch are something he will get to when he gets to them. Additionally, any scripts for administering LEM lists will be written down the road when time & resources are greater than they are now. With that in mind, please keep in mind LEM lists and LEM is a work of the heart. Donations to LEM to keep these resources up and on the Web are needed and gratefully received.
