Thank's Jess for responding, but I've solved my problem..sometimes
when you step away you can think clearer. I set up our Graphite Airport
using the setup "assistant" in our case "wrong method" were using a
router.
I sought help from numerous web sites, but only found "snippets" of
information...
So why not try the SOURCE I went to the AppleCare Pages and found a
document called "Designing Airport Networks 2" in the troubleshooting
section.
It listed just the kind of problems I had been experiencing. My wife
is happy
and free to roam with her IBook. I am now free to upgrade the Base
Station
with a new network card for encryption and signal strength. Phil Meza
