The VST card is an ATA/66 card.   It is a slightly modified Promise 
ATA/66 card.  The confusion comes in because one of the Mac ATA/100 
cards used a later Promise chip set, but they are not the same. 
There's a fellow named Peter H. on the PCI PowerMacs list who really 
knows the details of this stuff and has made a study of it.
