This discussion leads me to another question:

I use a LiteOn CDRW (12/10/32) connected to a Acard ATA66 PCI card, in a
S900/G3 450 running 9.2.2.
The drive is supported by Apple's Authoring Support since v.1.1.3.
Problem is: the drive works with Toast and iTunes, but not with Disc Burner.
I thought a drive working with iTunes should also work with Disc Burner, am
I wrong? Any suggestion is highly appreciated!

Chrisso

P.S. Instead of playing around with TomeViewer, I always use MacID Wannabe
to fool installers. Set the machine ID to 406 and Apple's installer thinks
you're using a B/W G3.
