Go to Appletalk Control Panel and select printer port for connection. 
Then the chooser should allow you to change. If that doesn't help, go 
to the system prefs and trash the Finder prefs, Mac OS prefs and System 
prefs and reboot. Another thing to try is to rebuild the desktop by 
holding down the option and Apple keys at restart. HTH.
