 One card (and there are more than a few you could choose) that would match
up nicely with your machine, would be an "ATI XClaimVR-128". You'd have to
check eBay for the going used price, but it adds a lot to an older machine.
The bonus with that card is the video capture, and TV playback capabilities.
Those features add a whole new dimension to a desktop computer. It also has
enough memory (16 mb) and acceleration to significantly enhance the games
that your C500 can play. Even if you don't play games, it will give a nice
boost for your everyday tasks. The TV and video capture options are just
downright "fun". For older computers, it's a real nice addition.

I sound like an ATI representative, but seriously, I've had two over the
years, and they're a nice addition to older Macs. It's still available new,
but used is much cheaper...
