I got an update for my genealogy program-put it into the CD and it would only partly open the beginning picture. Tried another program-same result. Tried my Plexwriter-it does say 'read', same result. Either both machines have gone away at the same time or the problem is elsewhere. Suggestions and what or where the elsewhere might be? Called OWC and their only suggestion what to hook them up to another machine and see if they work. Wish I have another to hook too. Bill Smith
