Hi,
I just bought three brand new 2 gig wide Barracudas to find that
they are Compaq branded and my int scsi won't mount any of them. My idea
was to hack HD Setup to recognise them and then format them normally but
because they won't mount I can't get the info for hacking. Any ideas
anyone? Scsi Probe can't see them either. Would Virtual PC and Win 98 do
me any good?
Also I just installed a G4/400 carrier and zif and now my startup
chimes sound distant and clipped - the card works ok but whassup with the
chimes? Can I fix it?
     Also - off target - I have a 8200/120 with the fixed 601 processor
and I'd like to put a 8500 nitro board in it - I know the 7600 board fits
but does a 8500 fit in a 8200?

     Pete in the UK
