Daystar is dead. This is Daystar Technology which is a slightly different name from the name used by the excellent maker of upgrades back when. However, the person behind this is Gary Dailey who was an employee of Daystar way back when and also was an XLR8 employee. He started this support company to take care of old Daystar products. Way back when there was some information about repairs available for the old Turbo 601 on the Unofficial Turbo601 Page and it was from him. He posted an explanation in the MacGurus forums, in the Processor Upgrades area. I think the last new post in the thread was Oct. 31. I've never bought anything from them nor had them do any repairs so I don't have a first hand opinion. On the other hand, I've never heard any complaints about them anywhere, which counts for something and it's very cool that they support these old products. Those old Daystar upgrades were amazing.
