Interesting work.  My understanding was that 16X was the maximum bus 
multiplier for the first 7455s, but Motorola's documentation does not 
seem to mention this anywhere.  They show bus multipliers up to 32X. 
But Josh's work seems to demonstrate empirically that 16X is the 
maximum.

I suspect that the chip may have more headroom, but that multipliers 
above 16X simply aren't supported on that revision of chip.

The Motorola technical docs claim that the 7455 is a drop in 
replacement for the 7450 and 7451, so Mad Dog you need to develop 
that home BGA soldering technique.  :-)
