Well the cat is out of the bag. Comcast just finished buying ATT Cable
and Broadband. I and many others knew this was in the works. Despite
promising to keep the ATT name they will be changing everyone's email
address to Comcast.net. This is the second major email change for the
company in a fairly short period of time. The last time was when ATT
decided to no longer be a part of @home.com. They will also be turning
off their news servers for newsgroups. People will be getting as a
replacement Giganews but limited to 1gb per month. You will be billed
by Giga news for any and all use over 1gb a month. A rise in price is
sure to follow ,one is already on the books for Cable!
If your as unhappy as I am start calling and sending emails to
ATT/Comcast!
I know a number of people here including Dan use ATT Broadband and
thought this would be of interest to ATT users. Sorry to the rest of
