Thanks for the citation, but this is something different: a parallel processing strategy that involves clustering CPUs on the PCI bus, not the same thing as a CPU upgrade with four G4s on a daughter card. My memory murkily recalls Apple itself alluding to such a beast, but nothing beyond prototypes, and none available for non-Apple machines. If someone has time to research it, I'd be curious myself.
