It would be news to me if it worked, but you should've asked the techie how a G4 machine could have SCSI unless it had an add-on SCSI card. As far as I can remember, onboard SCSI died with the beige PPC's. Certainly two G4 machines can be connected via Firewire cable using Firewire disk mode. But via SCSI? Naaaaa, can't be.
