I believe you got it right the first time ;-) There is no single 
processor S900 board. The single processor board is the J700 board 
which other then the single cpu and 4 pci slots is the same. There were 
three versions of the S900 board that I know of. A few early boards 
have a jumper pin which lets you disable the motherboard L 2 cache. The 
second version which is what nearly everyone has. The third version the 
machines were sold as S910 machines. The differences that I know of: 
1mb of L 2 cache which I think was removable and the PCI slots were 
numbered backwards. later Will S
