Dear listers still using netscape on your Supermacs.

After numrous and stupifying Type 1 and Type 2 crashes in Netscape
(4.78)
that led me through all sorts of fix attempts and finally to complete
removal and reinstallation of chips/cards and reformatting one of the
drives, it turns out the InBox.snm file was
corrupt (in the Netscape User folder in the preferences.)

If you ever start crashing in Netscape while launching the mail portion,

try trashing the InBox.snm file and let Netscape rebuild it for you.

I am so relieved to be back to normal with all address book info and
In/Sent mail.
As a bonus, one of the drives starts off with a fresh format.
And during the troubleshooting DiskWarrior was run on all the discs,
which is another side bonus. (Supermac content....)
And 4.8 was downloaded and installed but I have no idea what the changes
are from 4.78. Seems to be working fine, in case some of you want to
download it.

Thought this info would help some of you in case you run into the same
problem.
