The only thing I can think of is to hold down the "Command" (Apple key) key
to see if you can access the VPC menu options. The Command key switches you
out of the PC environment and into the Mac side of the VPC app. If that
works, perhaps you can set up the VPC prefs and target your ADB mouse as the
input device to get it recognized properly.

I was going to suggest getting an el-cheapo PC for a hundred bucks, but a
friend once gave me a Pentium 133 Tower... It gave me so much grief that I
seriously considered driving over it with the rear dual wheels of my transit
bus. I didn't do it, but it would have made me feel good, like I'd gotten
even with that evil box. He should've paid me for taking it off his hands. I
salvaged the IDE drive out of it, and even that died shortly thereafter. I
physically bent down and kissed my Mac after I got rid of that damned PC.

If Apple went under, I'd give up my computer interest and take up
needlepoint or something. I just cannot enjoy the PC thing like I do the Mac
thing.

When it works, Virtual PC is way better than an old Pentium.
Sorry for ranting. =)
