Hi Brian, Yes it can, with the proper adapter, and proper attention to termination issues. Be aware that the throughput will be limited to about 10 MB/s, but the advantages of lower seek times will be obvious 8^) Some UW 68 pin drives are designed without internal termination and require an external active terminator. These can work as a boot drive, but some other device on the chain needs to supply termination, and this is not always reliable ;-) Your best source of information is the drive's manufacturer's web site. There you should be able to find technical data sheets--typically in PDF format--that describe the various jumpers. Many drives also have the information printed on exterior labels.
