By OE, you mean Outlook Express? The basic answer is covered in the Outlook Express Read Me file (Section 2, Installation Notes).
"If you are using Macintosh OS 8.1-8.6: Outlook Express 5 user data is stored in the Identities folder. The Identities folder is located in one of two places on your hard disk: the Outlook Express 5 folder, or in the Microsoft User Data folder in your Documents folder." BE VERY CAREFUL HERE!! Backup the original identities folder on your 8.6 partition to a Zip disk, Stuffit archive etc. before you do anything else. It's too easy to trash all your OE data by mistake. Basically, you can either replace the equivalent "empty" Identities data on your OS9 partition with a copy of the 8.6 data or you can replace the "empty" OS9 data with aliases to the original 8.6 data. I like the latter approach better, since your data will be synchronized between both 8.6 and 9.x environments (because they will share the same files).
