and in some more good news, I managed to get my external LaCie SCSI
CD/RW drive (with a Yamaha 4416 drive) working for the first time since
installing Jaguar. Previously it had worked with up to X 10.1.5, but it
broke under 10.2 .
I had tried using El Gato's SCSI Helper patcher under 10.2, but it
just didn't take. Neither did it take when I upgraded to 10.2.1 and
10.2.2 .
However, a few nights ago I decided to give it one more try - and
this time it took. The CD/RW now appears in ASP, and iTunes, Toast and
Disc Burner are now working as good as they do in OS 9.
