Has anybody encountered any problems with the video card Rage 128 made by Ati on c500/c600 machines? Recently, I have bought such a card for my Apus 3000/c600 (Systems: Mac OS X, 9.1) via ebay, but with it installed the computer refuses to work, that is: it chimes, but it does not boot. I have done the usual things (PRAM resetting, CUDA button pressing), but no change. I suspect the card is simply damaged, but before I go back to the ebayer I would just like to make sure that there are no issues with the card I have overlooked. The card was originally sold by OWC and on their respective page it is stated that requirements are at least Mac OS 8.0 and a PCI-Mac. So if anybody has experienced problems with this card, I am eager to hear them.
