Robyn , yes you are correct about the Sonnet ATA 66 card showing as SCSI in OS 9.x and OSX. Sonnet doesn't make ATA/PCi cards. They buy them and rebadge them with their brand name. The Sonnet ATA/66 card is made by and the same as the Acard ATA/66 card. Some of the other sonnet cards are made by Promise(think VST ATA/66 card) and others by ACARD. I don't remember right now which other cards are which. Likely the ACARDS maybe all seen as SCSI and the Promise cards as IDE . However the VST (Promise) card is seen as SCSI in both os9.x and OSX but in OSX the drives hooked to it are seen as IDE. So it does get confusing.
