Hi Monde,

I obviously was having a "senior moment" yesterday, when I typed G3
instead
of USB in my original reply. Sorry for the confusion.

I was hoping someone with an S900 would jump in. Or at least someone
with
knowledge of PCs and windows.

It it worked in slot 4 before I would leave it there.

Do you have anything else in one of the top two slots? I remember you
mentioned a USB card, where is it? And, is there anything else in the
lower slots?

If you have spare slots, and a second monitor, you might want to leave
the TwinTurbo installed and use it with the second monitor and
OrangePC/Windows. I did that. My Radeon card made the screen flicker
in Windows.

You also might want to check the screen resolutions. How close do the
settings on the Mac side match the settings in your Windows environment.

Did you try forcing it to create a new preferences file using the
drag-and-drop method?

If all you did was the G3 upgrade and add the Voodoo card a reinstall
of the system software seems like over kill to me. Do you have any
disk utility programs? Disk Warrior is very effective at putting
things back in order.

Although we have our various machines networked together, the Orange is
not in the network. I do know that you need to enable the networking
in the OrangePC set up section. Is your Mac currently in the network?
I remember reading something about needing two network cards (one for
the Mac side and one for the Windows side) if you want to enable
networking on both. But I am not sure on that.

This whole discussion might be getting to far "off topic" for the
SuperMac list. So, feel free to email me directly if you want. I must
confess that I don't use the Orange and the Windows side for much of
anything. I bought it as a curiosity item. And, as a means of quickly
checking my web designs, to see how they look on the Windows side of
the world.

Nancy
