Sorry about that.  The "CUDA switch" for the CUDA chip is a mechanism on the 
motherboard that drains residual charge when the power plug and PRAM battery 
are removed, similar to shorting the CMOS jumper on a PC-- clears the mind.  
Often useful, even essential, after adding & removing  hardware (PCI & CPU 
cards, RAM).  

The CUDA switch in an S900 is located on the MB just to the left of PCI 
slot#6. It's silver, about a half cm on each side and has a small red? button 
extending from the top.  The "CUDA reset" procedure is to unplug the power, 
remove battery, press and hold this button for 10-30 seconds.  Replace 
battery & cord, then boot.  I use it routinely after seating CPU cards (per 
XLR8's instructions) and RAM (per experience & Kennedy's comments a while 
back about bringing apparently dead RAM slots back to life).
