An end to a long journey. One of the great expeditions of all times. OK,
maybe just a measly little problem, but its over. I finally got my dvd/ran
drive working. I can copy data and files to these fabulous cd-like disks to
my heart's content.

Not sure exactly what the stumbling block was with the firewire enclosure,
but after switching, swapping, reconnecting, and some blessed cursing, it
works! YEAH!

So thanks to everyone over the last month or two for all the ideas. Guess I
should have gone the firewire route in the first place but I didn't have a
solution for my internal cd/rom at the time. With that now solved, all is
well.

What is interesting is that I can even play music and video directly from
the drive. I didn't think the drive was capable of this. Which means I can
put a ton of music on each disk and totally save on disk space.

Thanks,

Dave
