Hi Perry,

This is a common problem with Macs and multisync VGA monitors. If your video
card has a Mac output, one solution is to use an adapter to plug the monitor
cable into that instead of the VGA port. Another is to use an adapter that
sets the resolution and frequency so that any settings in preference files
or in PRAM are ignored.
