There are 3 methods.
Easy: with S900 on side (as you face S900, top is on your right).
Loosen knob screw on top middle of panel in the rear (can leave in or
take out of panel). Depress tab on bottom with left hand and with
fingers of right hand under the bottom edge of the panel, give a short
pull. Switch to top tab with right hand depress tab and at the same
time put fingers of left hand under the edge of the panel, give another
short pull. Repeat these pulls alternating top and bottom tabs and you
will see the panel loosen from front panel. You should get more finger
space as the panel loosens. It's the little tugs that work here.

Old way: With S900 on side as above, loosen screw, depress tab and with
other hand palm down in the panel middle, push the panel away with a
sliding motion. Alternate hands with top and bottom tabs until the
panel starts to separate from the front panel. This method tends to
bring out the gorilla in us and too much force could....I don't want to
go there.

Impressive: do the Easy method above with the S900 in the normal
position. Takes practice and very fast (useful for for saving time in
OSX installs). HTH.
