Darren, I am kind of a newbie at using a DSL modem. But, I have our machines (desktops and laptops) working with a combination of wired and wireless connections to an Asante router. There are a lot of Cable/DSL routers out there that allow you to mix wired and wireless connections. Many of them are a lot less expensive than the Airport Base Station. Likewise, there are a lot of PCMCIA/Card Bus cards that will work, that are also less expensive than an Airport card. If the S900 has an ethernet port (it should), you might want to take a look at the Linksys WET11 Ethernet Wireless Adapter that Other World Computing has listed at: <http://eshop.macsales.com/Catalog_Item.cfm?ID=4999&Item=LNKWET11> There are probably many other brands that will work too. I don't know if you have a USB PCI card in the 900 or not. But, I would avoid any of the wireless devices for the S900 that connect via USB. USB connections are a big drain on the system. If you do decide to go with the Apple base station and card, check on Apple's web site for compatible accompaniments. Nancy -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
