It has (had) a PCMCIA connection cable and a firewire cable. I never had any problems with the AC adapter, but loads of grief with the firewire cable. I had two cables die on me in six months. On the third (warranty) replacement they sent me a new enclosure and a new cable. It did not last thirty days. They gave me my money back on the firewire cable. The PCMCIA card cable still works fine after two plus years. But then that only works with the laptops :-( The small external cases, and their parts, don't seem to be very well built, IMO.
