I have noticed several posts about scanner software lately so was
wondering what I have to do to get my SCSI UMAX Astro 610S to work
with OSX10.2.3 using MagicScan 4.5? I get a message saying "scanner
cannot be found" The same scanner is found using the demo of VueScan so
do I need some special driver for OSX to use MagicScan? I don't know if
$40 is too much to pay for software or not. Of course in Canadian funds
it would be closer to $70. If anyone knows if the software I have
already bought will work with OSX I would greatly appreciate hearing
from them at my e-mail address or on the list.
