This is a kind of deja vu for me. A FAQ for these machines, I mean.

I joined Compact Macs some years ago and a FAQ developed there, also.

I joined this list just a few months ago. I waited 2 days to see a posted
reply to my post. Now, I get to sift through a bunch of posts every day.
Nice to know
I'm not the only owner who likes his SuperMac. 

Also good to know they're tweakable enough to be of continued use. 

Since the ultra-fast rush to make 'em speedier, a lot of computers that
remain extremely
useful are being tossed by the wayside. 

I Own a pair of SuperMac C500's and a StarMax in addition to a dozen Compact
Macs and some dozen Vintage Macs. I repair and restore them, as well as any
P.C. that crosses my doorstep. 
The latest two are an 8088 and a Tandy 1000.

I've wasted too much bandwidth already.
