John, using the link you provided doesn't give me cards showing the
above #'s. It's not to surprising since this is/was a search link which
is likely only good one time. Also the numbers are not Sapphire
original numbers but likely numbers from the vender selling the cards.
They often use their own numbers for stocking and this adds to the work
of find the correct cards...
The ATI number you have is the number on the box of the ATI PC Radeon
7000 32 mb DDR PCI card. I got one last night at Compusa $49.00 with
$10.00 rebate= $39.00 and it works fine OS 9 and OSX ! ( after
following the flashing info of course ;-) The rebate is running until
March 31. It turns out the ATI 32mb and 64mb cards are 1 port vga
cards. The mac cards are 2 video port and TV out cards not a big deal
to me.
The Sapphire cards are just like the Mac cards with extra ports!
Both www.newegg.com and www.allstarshop.com have the Sapphire OEM
(ATI) Radeon 7000 DDR PCI card for $44.00 including shipping! So far
the Sapphire 64mb card which also includes the extra ports doesn't seem
to be available in the USA. A number of people seem to have been happy
newegg buyers. I've never used either company both are located in
California, USA
I will likely post a review of my new video card if people want to
hear more. Will S
