The Griffin iMic works beautifully. I have it plugged in to a Griffin
USB-Audio Hub which in turn is plugged into my Sonnet USB/Firewire
card. Both units cost me a total of $100 Canadian (I know, the Canuck
dollar is an outrage).

At the moment, as time allows, I'm archiving some old audio tapes. I'm
running off the RCA jacks on the tape deck to the 1/4" jack on the iMic.

I'm recording with Amadeus II <http://www.hairersoft.com>, not a bad
piece of audio software that allows the use of a rather large
collection of VST filters/plug-ins available as a free download.

Long live our SuperMacs!

John
