The ATI PC 7000 32 and 64mb cards commonly available in the USA are
single port VGA cards.
The Sapphire ATI OEM ( or clone cards) made under license from ATI are
three port cards VGA , DVI and TV out just like the ATI Mac Radeon
card but at 1/3 the price!
The Sapphire ATI 7000 DDR PCI 32mb card is available from
www.allstarshop.com
and www.newegg.com for $44.00 including shipping.
The 64mb card at this point is only available in the UK and Germany
there is a German website which would seem to ship to the USA but costs
apox $86.25 including shipping at todays Euro to dollars exchange. There
is however an as yet unknown customs charge to be paid when the card
arrives.

I have been trying to help people with flashing etc as many Mac users
aren't versed in using a PC let alone using Dos on a PC which is needed
to flash the cards. This has proved to not be easy to do over email ;-)
Also the Sapphire 32mb cards available in the US seem to have
different ram chips on different cards which run at different
speeds.Even though all the cards have the same part number . So this
card is not as easy to flash as the other three and has led to
unexpected problems. New files have been written for this purpose but
it is a work in progress. At least 3 people have gotten the Sapphire
32mb card to work. Which is pretty good because it is a small number of
people trying so far.
It is my opinion that flashing a PC card to use in a Mac is not
something just anyone can do. It will take an advanced computer user
and perhaps the help of an advanced PC computer user.
I am going to give the website for the german forum where this is a
work in progress. There are files and info available here that likely
won't work but an advanced computer person can read through and find
files that will work with available cards. Please realize this is a
work in progress. Important to note just because you want to save money
and get a cheap clone card doesn't mean everyone can do this. I am
available to give hints and help as I have time. But please realize
your limitations before trying this. End of rant ;-)

Best of luck , Will S
PS. I had an easy guide to doing this but the Sapphire 32mb card
doesn't quite work with it and there is no such thing as easy Dos for
someone who has never used it before especially us Mac users !
