Hi list

Very late but successful. Installed Jaguar this afternoon. Very
alien-took awhile to find some things. I partitioned an old external
4Gb drive into 3 parts with the biggest as a 2Gb partition. It really
isn't enough so I'm going to go thru the process again this time not
partitioning the drive. What I didn't understand in the instructions
(Rempel) was the difference between "Classic" and 9.x. In the
XpostFacto instructions it's suggested that we use three partitions:
for X, 9.x and classic. I was able to reboot from X to 9.2.2 and
before that open some programs in classic while in X. Was X using my
9.2.2 or is classic built into x? Sorry for these questions but I
didn't get documentation with the discs, which I will find somewhere
soon. But right now I have the weird feeling of being a stranger to
Macintosh after using macs since the 512k. Also there is an issue of
X not seeing my fast SCSI (ATTO) with its 18GB drive. If anyone else
has an ATTO PCI Express card and has gotten it to work, let me know.
Thanks to all for the past posts on X. I saved most.
