Hi,

I am trying to give an old soldier a new commission. I have a S900 604e/200
that I haven't used in probably two years. I am planning to donate it to a
local school. Before I sent it on its way, I was going to format the hard
drive and reinstall the original software from the CD. I can't recall what
all I have on there but I know that there was some personal financial info,
credit card numbers, a bunch of shady extensions, etc. However, for
whatever reason, I cannot get it to boot from the CD so that I can format
and reinstall. I tried turning the machine on while holding the bypass
keys, Command Option Shift Delete. This actually gave me the rebuilt the
desktop option. I also tried zaping the PRAM, Command Option P R and
immediately going to the bypass but this didn't work either. I tried
disabling some of the different extentions and now somehow have managed to
get it where it won't even recognize the CD drive. Any help here? What is a
sure fire method to force this guy to boot from the CD?

TIA

Wade
