Alan, I tried Netscape versions 6 and I think 7 . They were amazingly slow and buggy. I to am a big fan of the older Netscape Browsers. Used them for years. I still keep a copy of Netscape 4.78 and use for some sites that MSIE doesn't work well with. It took me a long time to face the fact that MWIE was now better then my old friend Netscape ;-( Have you thought about Eudora for mail? I've used it for years and it's really great! I thought since you had to try another app you might as well give it a try. OE is just what some of us expects from Microsoft....A security problem which hackers love and most virus's are sent using it! You've been warned.
