I have been using Eudora in paid mode for several years now. I used the lite version for a couple of years before that. If you don't need a spell checker or mood warnings or a number of bells and whistles the free version will do everything you need. It was version 3 if i remember. it was available on a lot of the CD's that came out with the magazines. If you need everything, Eudora has it all.
