Do you have any way to boot from an external device and try running Disc
Warrior ?
Maybe an external SCSI CD burner ?
Disc Warrior defaults to 9.2 when booting from it.
Older versions are available as well by holding down different numeral keys.

I would hate to see you have to reformat/repartition the drive, which
should be done but only after you somewhow manage to retrieve your data first.
