Be aware that for full ADB emulation, the drivers need to be downloaded from
the web site--they usually don't come packaged with the interface. Most
simpler devices like keyboards, numeric keypads, and single button mice and
trackpads, etc. work fine without the drivers, but things like software
dongles--and I suspect the webcam--require them. In my experience, this
piece of work is more responsive and reliable than a built-in ADB port.
