Many thanks for all the help. The disk with Jaguar on now checks out to be repaired and no further reports of errors on it. The only problem is when I go to boot into it from XPost it goes to start up but never finishes the boot. The screen goes all funny with intermitting lines through it, the circle at the bottom keeps spinning, and there it sits. I have to turn it off with the power switch and boot back into OS9.1 and then into OSX by XPost. Any ideas as to why this might be? OSX works fine. Could it possibly be any of the settings in XPost? What should the different settings be?
Thanks again.
Jacqueline
