Okay, maybe I can be of some help.
Open up your "system preferences", then open up "network". You will see a panel with 4 tabs: TCP/IP, PPPoE, AppleTalk, and Proxies. Open TCP/IP...down on the left half of the panel, under the "Configure" scroll box are 3 pieces of info. The 3rd one down, Router" should show your Router Address which will be a number like this: 192.168.0.1
If you have a router with 4 connections or however many, the addresses can go like this:
192.168.0.0
192.168.0.1
192.168.0.2
192.168.0.3
192.168.0.4
etc. The last number of the router address can have sequential changes. You can try adding a printer with each different address and see if you can get somewhere. dan_A
I guess I didn't state my case well enough, but been there...which is why
I'm puzzled! every "sequential" change I've made the printer isn't "taking"
What's the IP of my printer? Maybe its time to search Apple Tech, Macfixit
or the Web, I'm stumped...Thank's Phillip
