Hi Sandy,

Right idea, wrong port. This card requires a Cardbus type II slot typically
found on a laptop, not on a desktop computer.

Something along these lines--and this is _not_ a recommendation, since I
have not used this particular product--connected to the ethernet port would
be more appropriate:

I have done this with access points/routers sold by LinkSys, NetGear, and
even [shudder] Microsoft, with no compatibility problems. These all have a
micro HTTP server embedded so all the setup can be done with a web browser.
RTM and think carefully about the WEP code ;-)

There are also PCI and USB variations listed at the same vendor, if you
dare.
