If this can be done, I wonder how hard it would be to do a similar thing to let those of us with XLR8 Carrier cards use the new 16x multiplier G4 chips? It kind of sucks to be stuck at a theoritical maximum of 600MHz when with a properly made adapter we could use some of those 1.4GHz chips.
