Yeah - still too expensive. Looks like a big cheese grater.
I wonder if OS X Panther v10.3 will still run on the upgraded SuperMac.
10.3 is the only thing I'm interested in from Monday's announcements. Looks like the Finder has some nice improvements, and the ability to quickly change users - and logout without shutting down all of your running apps - is a welcome addition. XP does this, and it is *very* nice!
The "G5" is just More Of The Same - overpriced, underpowered, goofy-looking computers.
