Yes, I have a working Firewire card in my daughter's S900, running Jaguar. It is OWC's 3-port Firewire card. I mainly use it to attach an external 80GB Mercury Elite, used for backups, etc.

Note that you CANNOT boot from any Firewire drive on an S900, at least not presently. The upcoming 3.0 version of XPostFacto is supposed to have a mechanism to make that possible.

regards,
Gary G

Sorry to repeat, but no one seems to have answered my
question. Does anyone have a working Firewire card in
a Umax S900 running OS X Jaguar?
Thanks in advance and sorry again about the repeat.
George
