Just read the "post" in the archive, missed it, I'm still wondering if its possible to build a 3.0 - 2.1
disc? BootCD was written by Charlesoft. who wrote "Pacifist" Phillip

The early versions of BootCD didn't work with our Old World Mac machines. The last version I tried worked fine. Everything looked good however it wouldn't boot on my machine (J700 Umax) I spoke with Ryan of XPFacto and he said it had to do with the special BootX he uses to get our machines to boot OSX. He also said this will be fixed in XPFacto 3.0 mac OS X 10.3 Panther will require XPFacto 3.0 in order to run on our machines. It not expected from Apple till the end of the year. So XPFacto 3.0 will likely not show up in it's final form until then?
If what your asking is can you download DW 3.0 and add it to your DW 2.1 on a new CD and have it boot. I don't think it will work at this time sorry. I just went to the Boot CD web site and the last update was Feb 03. So no updates since I last tried it. Of course someone else may get it to work! However Ryan couldn't either. later Will S
