but some days ago I flashed my PC Version of an Adaptec 2940UW to work in my
Pulsar. It worked fine for me. I could even boot from a HD connected to it.
To do the hack I searched the Interent and found some article about modifying
the BIOS image with Resedit to fit in the EEPROM (or better to fake the
Image so that the Adaptec Flashing tool for the MAC would recognize it as a valid
image). Then I had to reflash it to work in my PC for some reason. Now I
have to reverse it one more time and unfortunatly I lost the manual to do so.
Any advice welcome!!!!
Cheers Wolfgang
Although Jeff Walther can better tell you, you might run into problems down the road unless you replace the flashROM with a lrager (1 megabit) version.
Why wouldnt this be legal ?
