I'm still looking for info on the rare G3 ziff upgrade for the c600 that I have seen mentioned once or twice in the list
What sort of information are you looking for? I think that Will S. has already answered your question: the G3 ziffs for the c600/Apus 3000 are not sold anymore; the only places where you can look for it are ebay and perhaps the swaplist; however, they are rare because only those ziff upgrades which are specially made for these machines will fit.
That said, I am glad that I own one (300 MHz), because it has doubled the life of my Apus 3000.
