Well I got one response for the trio "not to waste my money". Now I ask why? Sonnet seem to make some real solid stuff for us. I have the L2 G3 400 upgrade and the tempo 66 card and all work fine. So does anybody else have an opinion on the Trio??????
The Sonnet Trio was an extremely fantastic idea with very poor execution. I have only know one or two people that have had any luck getting more than one of the three uses to function properly without conflicts. They had to strip almost everything out of the extensions and remove other PCI cards for it work without freezing. Don't know anyone that has ever got all three functions to work, be stable and still have total functionality of the computer.
Also it is about the same as buying an all-in-one stereo. If the preamp goes out, you've lost your whole stereo.
